Thanks to all who participated in our little poll. Yes, you can find out where we ranked #1. . .on Match day. For those who aren't familiar with the crazy process by which your fate is decided for an ortho residency, click here for an example. Anyway, the big day is November 28. We'll let y'all know as soon as we know. ;)
This week wasn't too exciting - just making the decision. After changing our minds, we did finally decide where to rank #1 and feel really good about our decision. We both just feel like the Lord has it in his hands and will send us where we need to go. We just hope both of our wills line up! We've been dealing with a throwing-up baby today. We were in the car, on our way to stake conference, when Ellie threw up all over herself and her carseat. We turned around and came home. Connor's been getting over a cold and actually threw up yesterday during a coughing fit, so it was really a good thing. She's been throwing up all day since then, so that's been fun. Poor girl.

In other news, we decorated for Christmas last night. Jake and I are some of the biggest Christmas nerds you will ever meet- we start listening to Christmas music in September - and decided that we wanted a few weeks to enjoy our decorations before we head out to Idaho/Montana. So, I thought I'd share our handiwork -
I love this Nativity. Jake's parents brought one for everyone in the family from Jerusalem. We can't find our baby Jesus, though, which is very sad. Jake suggested we could say it was symbolic of the empty tomb. If any DaBells happen to find an extra baby Jesus, send it our way!

I can't wait to see where you get matched! I'm sorry to hear that little ones are sick, that's one of the woes of parenting. when are you guys going to be in Idaho? I'm really not sure if or when we will be, but we'd love to see you guys during part of it! Happy Thanksgiving!
Love the Decor! Kyle and I are in the process of deciding how to make our little studio look decorated, even though we have almost NO room in our studio....maybe pictures will follow!
Good luck on the matching! That process looks like a headache!
Nice decorations. I have a bunch of family members going to Israel in December. I don't know if you can buy just a baby Jesus, but I could ask them to look if you want.
