We've had a busy but wonderful week. I worked a couple of extra shifts at the beginning of the week, and then my family came to visit. My kids had been anxiously counting down the days until Amber came - she's the ultimate in their minds. They could hardly contain themselves while they were waiting for her to arrive, and they wanted little to do with Jake and I once she got there. Jake and I weren't too heartbroken- it meant the kids were occupied so we got an occasional nap! :)
We went on a fun excursion to Pike's Place and the piers. Ellie's highlight was feeding the seagulls. Connor was just glad to get away from the "smelly fish". I don't think he'll ever be working at the Pike Place Fish market!
Checking out the water with dad and GrandpaOur camera got left in our stroller after this, but we also went on a tour of campus and to the Ballard Locks. We ate too much and played hard- and it was sad to see my family leave. We're hoping they'll come back soon. And, to anyone else who may be thinking about coming- we love visitors!!
