I guess it's been long enough. . .

Sorry, faithful blog readers. I don't know what my deal is. I am just not motivated to blog right now. But, I somehow found the strength within me to blog tonight for all of your enjoyment. :) So, here's the brief recap of our lives since the 26th of May: Connor graduated from preschool, and as part of the "ceremony" they did a little play of Noah and the Ark. Unbeknownst to me, my little guy was Noah. In my totally unbiased opinion, he did a smashing job:).

Connor with the "Fab 4" from preschool- Indy, Conner, and Justus. They were such good buddies; it's sad they're all going to different elementary schools.

Ellie slept through an entire Costco trip. It was one of the quietest trips I've ever had. :)

Connor, Conner, and Justus all have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other, so we decided to combine birthday parties instead of doing 3 separate ones. The kids had a great time, and the moms enjoyed getting to spread the work!!

Blowing out the cake

Connor's birthday gift- a new Hot Wheels bike. I love Craigslist :)!

Jake and Connor were able to attend a Father's and Sons camp out a couple of weekends ago. Connor was so excited the day it came that he could hardly stand it. The boys had a great time canoeing . . .
and riding horses.

Ells and I had a great time shopping, painting nails, and eating yummy food.

The kids and I have taken a trip to the zoo. . .

And are now making the big trip! We left on Friday to drive to Spokane. One of Jake's professors has a Lake house in Cour d' Alene and invited us out for a get together. As you can imagine, it was really rough, but we found it in ourselves to accept his invitation :)
This picture explains it all- we had a great time!

The kids loved their first experience on jet skis. Ellie even started going so far as to start trying to keep other people from using them!

The rough life of being on the lake. It doesn't get much worse than floating in an inner tube and eating ice cream :) And where was I, you might ask? Well, I couldn't find my maternity swimsuit, so I stayed on the beach and dock and manned the camera!

We managed to pry ourselves from the lake (it was really hard) to make the drive to Bozeman to see Jake's parents. The kids got to go wander the "jungle" with Grams and Papa while Jake and I went to go check out BillingsThey really do love each other. Most of the time.
We made it down to Idaho Falls yesterday, and have enjoyed not driving for a little while! We went to Leo's - a local restaurant like Chuck E. Cheese except with good pizza - today for lunch. Ellie rode this little purple dinosaur 7 times. In the picture, you can see the little cup she's holding with tokens. She was sitting so sedate, going back and forth, that looked like she was about to fall asleep, except every time it quit she'd pop in another token. It was hilarious to watch. We finally convinced her to do something else :).

We have more road time tomorrow - we're driving to UT for Jake's family reunion, and will be there until Sunday before we make the long drive home. This trip is going too fast. . .

That picture of her sleeping in the shopping cart is so funny! How did you manage that? Boy, do I miss Costco.

Abby! How fun that you were able to take a sweet little drive across the world! :) All that driving for Leo's! We love it there too. Have a safe trip back!

Sounds like you've been busy, busy. At least it helps makes pregnancy go by faster, right??

I am thrilled that you had a second to stop and visit on your whirlwind trip. I love seeing the lakehouse pictures. You are totally right about how beautiful it is! Hurry and get this job and pay your debts and then get a lakehouse of your own so that we can come and play! (we would come even if you didn't have a lakehouse!)

How is it possible that you ALWAYS have your camera with you? Even at Costco? Love it all.
