Birthday Boy and other adventures

Well, I missed a week. Drat. And I was doing so well! Anyway, today was Jake's birthday. . the big 2-7. We both had to be extra nice to each other today since it was his birthday and Mother's Day! He got up early with the kids and made me breakfast, and then I made him a cake and dinner while he made a Strawberry pie that would make Martha Stewart proud. He got a set of golf clubs for his birthday, which he's really excited about. He says he needs to learn to golf better for his "business." Who ever heard of a dentist/orthodontist who golfs?!? ;)

We had some friends over today for cake and ice cream, and the kids had fun with our inflatable boxing gloves. Mya's looking mischievous because she's about to take Connor out while he wasn't looking!

We went and picked strawberries at Jean's Berry Patch on Thursday. Well, Jake and I picked. . . Connor just ate!

We went to the Durham Life Science museum a week ago, and they have this huge outdoor "music" area. Connor had a ball.
