Trunk or Treat

Yes, I am doing a lot of posting today. I would have done half of it last week, but Blogger wasn't letting me upload my photos for some odd reason. So, count this as two weeks. Or, just call me an overachiever. I can handle that too.
Jake's off again. He had four- yes four- interviews for ortho residencies in a one week period. So far he's been to Alabama, Iowa, U Washington, and U Maryland. He just left a few hours ago for Baylor. I'm getting tired of single motherhood. It definately does make me appreciate Jake more, though!
Rub-a-dub-dub cute kids in the tub! We had Mya over for a while on Friday evening, and she got to take a bath with Connor and Ellie. Too cute.
Our apartment complex had a little "Family Fest" and they had a fire engine. Connor though that was so cool to check out!

Our ward had a "trunk or treat" party last night. Jake and I actually won 1st runner up in the costume contest! Anyway, here's a little preview of the kids Halloween costumes. You'll see more pictures of them, I'm sure.

Ellie's a lady bug this year. She doesn't look too excited, does she?

The rear view

Connor is a chicken. Yes, this is what he picked out himself. He loved it.

Jake and I went as a S'more. Creative, eh? It was Jake's idea! (Yes, that is a pillow in my shirt. I promise I'm not that big myself!)

Carving our pumpkins

The finished product. No, we are not that artistic on our own. We are really good at using templates, though. :)
