When we're helping we're happy. . .

While they're not big fans of putting their toys away, my kids love to help me with cleaning chores around the house. I'm grateful- it satisfies my compulsiveness with cleaning, but it's actually a fun activity that the kids and I get to do together. They help me clean the oven (with water and a little elbow grease- no harsh chemicals were exposed to my babies!!)
Sweeping the floor. This usually means that the dirt pile just gets spread around again, but one day they'll get it. :)
Dusting. Connor actually loves dusting and has "his" swiffer. For some reason, though, he decided to act like he was being tortured in this picture.
And now. . . Ellie's tribute to '80's "hair bands"
"SHEEEZE!!"
Pretty great do's , eh? All courtesy of pigtails or ponytails she ripped out.

I love the cleaning pics and the fact that you made sure we all knew you didn't let your kids use oven cleaner or anything! We all know you're a great mom! Great job teaching the kiddos to clean!

Ellie's hair is wild! Too fun! I think that the boys in high school are going to have to nickname her "Hair" too!

So, I am curious about this compulsive-cleaning you mentioned. Is there any way you could send some of that my way? Much obliged. :)
Great getting your kids to help out! I think if I gave little man a swiffer he would think it was cotton-candy!
Love the pictures!
