6 years ago today. . .

Jake and I got married. So, totally copying Kristin's idea, here's a few reasons why Jake and I work:

1. My feet are always cold. He buys me warm socks and, if he's in a very good mood, will let me put my freezing cold feet on him when we're in bed to warm them up. What a guy!

2. He's willing to play Paper-rock-scissors with me to decide who changes poopy diapers.

3. I hate making "business" calls. Jake hates it, but he will do it.

4. We both love being by our families.

5. Jake and I are both musical. We even played in an orchestra together in high school (Idaho All-State - his senior year, my sophomore), although we didn't meet for another 4 years.

6. Jake is a romantic. He still kisses me at most red lights, as long as I'm not busy passing fruit snacks or sippy cups to the back of the car.

7. He's a good shopping buddy. He doesn't always want to go, but he will give me an honest opinion about the way something I'm trying on looks.

8. Jake puts up with my OCD about a clean house. In fact, I'm starting to bring him over to the dark side. . . .

9. Jake and I are rarely worked up at the same time. If one of us is worked up about something, the other us usually calm.

10. Jake is one of the few people who can rub my feet without tickling them.

I could go on and on, but the real reason for this post is just to say I love you Jake, and I'm grateful for the last 6 years. Here's to many more!
