Am I the only one who's dying for winter to be over? Granted, I live in Seattle, so to all y'all who have snow, I know I don't have much room to talk. I'm just ready for the days to start getting warmer, more flowers to come out, the smell of cut grass (which I actually got a whiff of the other day, and it made me very happy). It's just time. Enough of the bare trees - bring on the leaves!
The kids had a lot of fun playing in a puddle on Friday. My mean-mom self almost said no, before I made myself take a breather. They had a great time- dirty pants and all :).
This beautiful tree is visible outside my window. It gives me great hope!
This week is Jake's spring break-it will be nice to have some R & R. My family is coming up on Tuesday, and the kids are so excited they can hardly stand it. Me? I'm just hoping I can survive two days of work in a row. . .

I've been scoping out the trees around here to see if any green is going to show up. It drives Clark crazy, because I have to point out any tree that has hope for turning green soon. We had a couple nice days, but it got cold again today. That's so great your family is coming to see you!! I hope you get rested up before they show up.
I agree, I can't wait for good weather, flowery trees, and even cut grass. I'm definitely ready!
Hi sis! How was Ellie after we left? After hearing about Ellie screaming the whole way home I sort of wondered.
