I love weddings. Especially family weddings in the temple. It's such a neat experience to see the new couple so happy as they make those sacred covenants with each other, and to be in the temple with many of your family members. It's a good reminder to me of the covenants Jake and I made with each other 6 1/2 years ago. As I sit in the sealing room, I can't help but have the image flash in my mind of Jake kneeling across from me in our sealing room; seeing him smile at me after we both said yes and joined our eternities together.
Sentimentality aside, we were lucky enough to attend Jake's brother Alex's wedding on Friday in the Portland Temple. He married a wonderful girl (Lisa) in a beautiful place and we couldn't be happier for him.

How handsome (and grown-up!?!) is my little man? He was so proud of his bow-tie. He's informed us that he's now wearing this every week to church.
Clark and Andrea created a monster. They let Ellie take some pictures with their camera, and she wouldn't stop. Thank goodness for digital!!
We drove to Idaho yesterday (the kids were angels - best drive we've ever had), and Jake flew back to Seattle for more school today while the kids and I stay here until next weekend for a family reunion. We hate being apart from dad, but we're excited to be here!

We were so glad to have you there with us! Sorry about letting Ellie take so many pictures, when they're that cute it's hard to say no. I hope you guys have a good time in IF, I wish we were already there sometimes.

Oh I am so glad you posted pictures!! Lisa and Alex look great as does your cute family! I think Connor looks smashing in his bow tie. Let him wear it forever and then blackmail him with the photos before his first prom! Great to see you yesterday!
