Fairy Scoots and Goggles

I need to remind myself how much easier (and faster) it is to blog about only a week instead of 4. Maybe that will keep me motivated. :) Since we came back from Christmas, the kids have had a couple of classes start. I'm not one who likes having a lot of activities scheduled, but with it being rainy season we need things to help us get out of the house. I can only rearrange the furnitre so many ways, after all. :)

Connor is doing swimming lessons. For some reason, he thinks he's almost invincible in the water with his goggles on. I just have to make sure I remember them every week, or else we might start getting quite a collection!

Mason's not taking any classes. He just loves eating. He's such a happy, easy kid. We love him. How can you not love those cheeks and that double chin?!?!

We started Ellie in a dance class. She has a lot of energy, and we thought this might be a good outlet for it! She's been so excited, and when class finally started this week she had the biggest grin on her face - I couldn't help but grin watching her!!

Here she is doing "fairy scoots." Her class is short (only 1/2 hour), and apparently that wasn't enough for her. All the other kids were leaving, and Ellie went up to her teacher and said, "I want to dance some more." Her sweet teacher put on another song so she could dance a little more and watch herself in the mirrors. " Maybe we'll have our own "So You Think You Can Dance" contestant in a few years. . . . .

Look at that expression on Ellie's face! Darling and devious at the same time. I love it.
