On our walk tonight, as Connor was taking his sweet time walking:

Dad: Connor, you need to walk a little faster or get in the stroller.
Connor: A little faster- that's Moderato!

Say my name, say my name

Last night Connor went with me to get the mail. He asked me if there was any for him, so I gave him a piece of junk mail to pacify him. A few minutes later, he yelled out "HEY! THIS DOESN'T SAY CONNOR!" He was soooo sad when Jake told him that it was really addressed to him. He started sobbing and saying, " They didn't get my name right. Maybe somebody didn't know my name so they had to write dad's." Jake and I were pinching ourselves to keep from laughing, since this was obviously a big deal to him. We finally calmed him down by telling him that it MUST be a mistake and crossing out Jake's name and writing in Connor's.

The moral of the story : Anyone who wants to send Connor mail, he'd love it. Just make sure you address it to him instead of Jake. :)

Connor starts Preschool

Well, my little boy is officially in preschool. He started last week. He absolutely loves it and gets pretty sad if it's not a day he gets to go to preschool. He was so excited for his first day and insisted he wear his "preschool clothes" - an outfit I bought him and told him he could wear them for school. Now he thinks that's all he can wear to preschool, so we've had to have a few talks. :) Mini orthodontist?
