I don't have anything very exciting to blog about this week. I worked and did my zone 2 for flylady; Jake went to school; Connor built forts, played "Superhero Puppy", and married Emma twice (I think the pink dress is a nice touch- thanks for the picture, Kristin); Ellie ate, took naps, made messes, and used her diapers. But, rather than wait for 10 days to blog again, I'm posting a "tagged" off of Cayenne's blog. She didn't tag me, but it's fun stuff nonetheless. Have fun learning more about me.
Where were you 10 years ago?
10 years ago, I was a nerdy 15 year old sophomore. I couldn't date yet, so I doubt I was doing anything very exciting.
5 things on my to-do list today:
1. Read my scriptures
2. Take a Sunday nap (already done that- it was wonderful)
3. Write in My Journal
4. Plan the rest of our adventures before we move
5. Go to bed early - The early morning gym starts again tomorrow!!
Snacks I enjoy: Pita chips and hummus, apple slices, and a good kosher dill pickle.
Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
1. Have my retirement saved for
2. Have Jake's school paid for
3. Have my car paid for
4. Have Jake's future practice paid for
5. Quit work and go shopping. :) That would probably work out to about a billion dollars.
3 of my bad habits:
1. Eating what I bake
2. Wasting time on the computer
3. Blowing the budget
5 places I have lived:
1. Idaho Falls, ID
2. Moscow, ID
3. Rexburg, ID
4. Provo, UT
5. Chapel Hill, NC
5 jobs I have had:
1. Telemarketer (I quit after one day)
2. Retail Clerk at Chesbro Music Co.
3. Lab assistant in the Nursing Lab at Ricks/BYU-I
4. Nurse Apprentice (a glorified CNA)
5. Registered Nurse in the NICU or Mother/baby
5 things people don't know about me:
1. It makes me nauseous to bite on a piece of eggshell. I rarely eat scrambled eggs for this reason. Ellie found some eggshells in the garbage the other day and was eating them. I about lost it. I have a pretty strong stomach being a nurse and can handle blood and vomit, but eggshells are yucky! It makes no sense!
2. I'm glad I have my nursing job, but I don't love being a nurse. There's too much paperwork and politics with the job today. I'd love to stay home and get paid to scrapbook, blog, or sew.
3. I'm kind of a pack rat who loves to declutter. It's a total oxymoron, but I hang on to stuff for a lot longer than I should. It always feels so good to get rid of stuff, though. Jake and I just went through our storage closet this weekend. I still had all of my syllabuses from College. I got rid of 10 binder's worth of stuff. It was awesome.
4. I like cleaning. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than having a clean house.
5. I'm one of the most ticklish people you'll ever meet. Jake was trying to be sweet and give me a back rub on Friday, and the whole time I was squirming. I think he enjoys the power he has over me sometimes. :)
I now tag: Anyone who has a blog and feels like filling out this questionnaire.

I LOVE the photo! That will be one he will despise when you show it to his dates in 15 years!! :-)
You are so cute Abby! I'll have to remember the eggshell thing. Just kidding.
That was a great post, I read it over breakfast this morning and it was a great way to wake up. Have a good day!
The pink dress makes me laugh. When you are a kid, you can do anything. It was fun to read a few fun things about you too! I aways love to catch up on what your doing.
That movie is hillarious! We loved it!
