Practicing for Seattle

We got some pretty good rainfall on Friday. While I hate my loss of sunshine, we really need the rain so it was welcome. The afternoon was sunny, though, so we headed outside to get in some puddle jumping action. The kids loved it!!
The first lame puddle we found. Still fun.
The face says it all. Ellie had the time of her life!
The much better and messier puddle we found on the playground. The kids played in this for a good 1/2 hour. They didn't want to leave, but Kristin and I were getting cold.
Saturday was beatiful! I love NC winters - especially when I see Alli's blog with all the snow :). It got up to about 60 yesterday, so we took advantage of it and went to the park. Ellie was particulary taken with the swings.
Connor was attracted to digging in the dirt. Big suprise! My boys are so so cute.
Elli's such a girl. She's obsessed with shoes. She insisted on wearing some yesterday while getting ready for bed. What goes better with jammies than patent leather shoes?!? Nothing, my freinds. Nothing.

For our date this week, Jake and I went and test drove minivans (fun free date!). I have officially arrived at full-fledged "mommyhood" - my dream car is a Honda Odyssey!! We'll probably be upgrading sometime before #3 comes, because I don't think it's humanly possible to fit 3 car seats in the back of our Outback. I'm not making any announcements, so don't get excited. We've got to get through our move first before we can start working on that. :) Anyway, it was really fun. Now I'm dreaming of all the space. . .

Enjoy Your warmth!!..**sigh** the groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter. I have a feeling in Logan it will be more like 3 more months of it!

A minivan?? you are seriously old and BORING!!! (j/k i actually think they are the bomb...however for our first round of car seats, we want an outback, so maybe we can arrange something!!)

I pulled the puddle pictures of Emma off your blog. Oh, and I'm tagging you. Write 7 things about yourself (or your family). and then tag 7 more people. Good luck!
