Jacob "DaMAN" and Family

Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks. I've been working lots of extra hours lately and I couldn't find our cable to download our pictures last week, so I had to buy a new one. ARRG. We are still alive, though, and I have the pictures to prove it!!

It's spring in North Carolina. Everywhere you look, something's in bloom. Jake had the afternoon off on Wednesday, so we took advantage of it and went up to Duke Gardens, one of our absolute favorite places in North Carolina. Everything was in bloom. It was seriously Heaven. . Anyway, we took lots of pics for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

This is the Wisteria Gazebo. This is one of my absolute favorite things about living in North Carolina. These beautiful vines are everywhere you look. It's so pretty to see a pine tree that has hanging purple flowers on it!

The Tulip Beds

Ellie wandering. she was holding still for a millisecond, so we had to take a picture.

Look at my cute kiddies!!

For all you Westerners: That icky stuff in the water? That's pollen!!

Connor loved going all over the steps

We actually got a family picture. Amazing!!
This looks like it should be a scene from a movie

Connor and I enjoying time by the pond.
Ellie, yet another rare moment sitting still
My cute boy

Connor and his caterpillar friend. He tried to convince us that he would be happy coming home with us, but we eventually convinced him otherwise.

Jake and I got to go to a nice banquet on Thursday for graduation. Jake got a couple of awards (I'm proud of you honey!!), but hands down got the best introduction of the night. The award was for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiography- and the professor giving the award was going on about what a "Master Radiographer" this student was. Then, he said: "In fact, this student should change his name from 'Jacob DaBell' to 'Jacob DaMAN'!"
So, here's the picture of us all dressed up. For some reason, this picture makes me look awful "voluptuous" - I promise I'm not really that big all you blog lurkers!!

Beautiful views and great stories! Congrats on your Seattle trip. I hope that Ellie is healing well and don't worry about being an obsessive blogger...any one of us would have done it too!
