When we started dental school, 4 years seemed like a really long time. I remember saying goodbye to my family with a 2 month old Connor in tow right before we moved here, and my mom saying that it would go really fast. Then, we started dental school, and I didn't believe her. It seemed like D-school was never going to end, that this was going to be our existence for the rest of our lives. And then, one day I woke up and Jake was graduating. Now I know what she means. It seems like forever when you're in it, but when it's over, you sit and wonder, "Where did all that time go?"
The D-School had a reception for the graduates before commencement exercises. This is us with LaJean, one of our favorite classmates.
Us and Jake's parents
Jake walking down the isle. Apparently lavender is the "scholarly color" for dentistry.
The LDS DDS graduates of 2008
The graduates with spouses. It's so weird to be associating with so many great people for so long, and then at graduation it was like we were all saying "Have a nice life". We're all going off to different parts of the country, but hopefully we can stay in touch. It's yet another way blogs are fantastic.

Jake's mom took a bunch for us, and I haven't gotten them from her yet. When I get them, I may post them if too much time hasn't elapsed. :)
