Hard to believe, but yes, she turned 2 last week. Where does the time go? We ended up spreading out the birthday love all week, since her birthday was on Tuesday and her party was on Saturday. We did celebrate with a birthday dinner- Ells' favorite, BBQ beef sandwiches. Yum!
Then she got to enjoy the birthday spoils. She was more than happy to wear the princess crown. Diva.
Checking out the goods. She loved this necklace and matching bracelet- unfortunately, she tried to put the bracelet on her head moments after this photo was taken, so that is now sitting in a Ziploc bag waiting to be fixed. The necklace also received a Ziploc of its own yesterday, awaiting repair.
Getting some help from the older brother.
Ellie wanted a "Buh-fly" party, so here's my butterfly cake. I thought it turned out pretty cute. It was actually pretty easy to make, which made me happy.
Jake had her party pictures on his camera, but they weren't anything too special. Just the normal toddler birthday party mayhem. With Butterfly wings.
