Amber

We were lucky enough to get to bring my little sister back to stay with us for a week after our family reunion. We all loved having her - I enjoyed the extra set of hands and the kids worship the ground she walks on (Ellie will frequently ask for Amber if she thinks Mom and Dad are being too mean). We tried to make sure she had a really good time to make sure she'll come back next year :).

First stop: Rain Forest Cafe. Connor and Ellie were much more impressed with the fish tanks and robotic animals than the food.
We were seated right next to the waterfall, and Ellie kept worrying that we were going to get wet!

Next stop: The zoo. Great time had by all.

Tulalip outlets. Looks like Ellie found a new squeeze. Sorry, Mary Jane Watson.

We decided to be brave and take all the kids to the drive through for a double feature (G-Force and Up). Ellie was totally out by the end of the first movie. Connor actually somehow stayed awake through the second - I didn't. :) Luckily, we were all able to sleep in the next morning!

My camera started acting weird here- hence the reason we've ordered a new one before this baby comes. We've had our current one for almost 6 years, so I guess it's time. :) This is at the Pacific Science Center. Connor was so sad when we had to leave - his head was just hanging. Good thing we have a pass now!
Every time Ellie turned the wheel, she lifted up her leg like so. Pretty funny.
Amber and I were able to spend some quality sister bonding time getting pedicures.
H-E-A-V-E-N. Good thing I'm having a baby soon so I have an excuse to get another. :)

We took Amber to Carkeek Park to enjoy a little more time on the Sound. I love that Beach.

The tide was low, so we were able to find lots of interesting things like little hermit crabs and anemones.

Connor, however, was more interested in the fishing lure he found and made a swing out of (for the hermit crabs). He's creative, that one!
